Beauty and the Bee
It’s been raining for about thirty-nine days. I like rain, but this is starting to get to me. My garden looks like a wet dog and my carefully potted Impatiens have drowned in their pots. ENOUGH! I took a stroll to see what, if anything, was surviving and was instantly cheered up. How could I not be when these brilliant yellow blooms were everywhere, healthy and thriving. There was even an industrious little black and white bee making his rounds in the rain.
Last year there weren’t half so many pretty yellow faces in the garden. It seems that compensations are always provided.
