We now have enough relish to eat hotdogs forever. Given the economy, that may be a good thing. But it’s delicious, absolutely delicious! I put the hottest peppers I could find, some of which we grew, into a separate batch for DS and my girlfriend. We called it Fire in the Hole! They like it really, REALLY hot!! Even that batch is delicious. It’s not as hot as I thought it might be, but it’s plenty hot. Tomorrow we finish up the Dill Pickles. There is something profoundly satisfying about growing and then canning most of the ingredients for foods your family will then enjoy all year! Messy, but satisfying!
